Bajrang Dal Opposes New Year Celebration in Bengaluru, Shiv Sena Supports in Mumbai

Bajrang Dal threatens to disrupt New Year Celebration in Bengaluru While in Mumbai, Shiv Sena Youth Leader Aaditya Thackeray has demanded to have permission for ‘All Night’ party on New Year Eve, in stark contrast, in Bengaluru the Bajrang Dal, a staunch Hindu outfit has warned all party revelers to refrain from New Year celebration!

Bajrang Dal has declared New Year Celebrations as ‘anti-Hindu and anti-Indian’ hence the party has demanded the closure of all hookah bars, pubs, and Rave parties! The Bajrang Dal Party state convener Suryanarayan has warned the youth of Bengaluru to stay away from partying and New Year celebration as New Year’s celebration is a ridiculous celebration and has no Spirituality with Hindu Dharma.”

However, Bengaluru Police Commissioner T Suneel Kumar has declined the diktat of the Bajrang Dal. In a press statement, Suneel Kumar said, “Bajrang Dal has no authority to threaten citizens. People should not fear as sufficient police bandobast is made with additional 1,500 home guards and 1,000 civil defense personnel, along with drones.”

On the other hand Shiv Sena and it’s youth leader Aditiya Thackeray appealed to CM Devendra Fadnvis to remain Open Restaurant, Pub and Night Club  till 5 am, in Mumbai, Pune and Thane. Government approved it.
