Mumbai Crime Branch arrested fifth accused in Ghatkopar Hoarding Collapsed case.Muhammad Arshad Nizamuddin Khan Close aide of Suspended IPS Officer Qausar Khalid , was arrested from Uttar Pradesh, Lukhnow last week.Arshad Nizamuddin is accused of receiving 84 lakh rupees from EGO Media pvt Ltd.As per the th SIT of Crime Branch report,Ego Media Pvt Ltd send 84 lakh to 18 unknown bank account on behalf of Arshad Nizamuddin Khan,who is linked to Qausar Khalid.
According to Bhavesh Bhinde’s Statement given to to Special Investigation Team of Mumbai Crime Branch Arshad managed all bribe amounts on behalf of Suspended IPS Officer Qausar Khalid and he  diverted all funds in different shell Companies.
Mumbai Crime Branch produced Arshad before the Court and got his police Custody till 4 th January 2025.

On May 13 2024 , Hoarding Collapsed in Ghatkopar which claimed 17 lives and Injured more than 70 people injured In this incident then Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde ordered to set up SIT to investigate the Case.A Team of Mumbai Crime Branch launched investigation.
During the Course of Investigation Mumbai Crime Branch arrested Bhavesh Bhinde,Janvi Marathe, Sagar Patil and Manoj Sanghu.
Janvi Marathe and Sagar Patil former Ego Media Director were arrested from Goa on June 3 2024.As if now 5 the accused have been arrested in this Case so far.
