 In a major administrative reshuffle, the state government has officially announced the temporary promotion of 15 senior Police Inspectors to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) / Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) (Unarmed). The officers, selected from the “Regular Select List 2025–26,” have been promoted based on their seniority and are being actively posted to their newly recommended positions. According to official department sources, these postings are subject to specific terms and conditions outlined in the promotion order, effective immediately.
