Hotel Manager Accused of Sexual Assault and Cheating in Borivali; FIR Registered
Mumbai: A 32-year-old man identified as Himanshu Shrivastava, working as an Operational Manager at Muza Hotels, Eskay Resort in Borivali (West), has been accused of sexually assaulting a 44-year-old woman on the pretext of a false promise of marriage and career assistance in Bollywood.
As per the FIR available With Hello Mumbai News, the accused allegedly lured the woman by promising to help her establish a career in television serials. Taking advantage of her trust, he is accused of sexually assaulting her and cheating her of 10 tolas of gold jewellery, including a necklace and bangles, along with ₹5 lakh in cash.
The victim, a resident of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is currently staying at the same hotel in Borivali where the accused is employed. She has further alleged that she is being threatened by the accused and his second wife, identified as Miss A. Sharma, after she demanded the return of her valuables and money.
Based on her complaint, an FIR was registered on Wednesday morning at MHB Police Station, Borivali, under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Police officials confirmed that the accused is currently absconding, and a search operation has been launched to trace him.
While Speaking with Hello Mumbai News over phone Police Inspector Bhalchandra Shinde Confirmed this news,” We have registered a Zero FIR under B.N.S.S.64 (2) (m) and 69 against Himanshu Shrivastava and transferred this FIR to Sagar Police Station,Madhya Pradesh Because the first incident took place in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh,”
Mr Bhalchandra Shinde further states,we have registered this Fir on the basis of the evidence which was provided by the Complainant but Sagar Police will investigate the entire Case we will provide All details to them.
