## IAS Babasaheb Beldar Appointed as CEO of Dhule Zilla Parishad

In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, the Government of Maharashtra has officially transferred senior IAS officer Shri. Babasaheb Beldar. According to an official order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) from Mantralaya, Mumbai, Beldar has been appointed as the new **Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Zilla Parishad, Dhule**.
Prior to this new assignment, Shri. Babasaheb Beldar was serving as the Managing Director of the Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation in Mumbai.
Transition of Charge
The vacancy at Dhule Zilla Parishad comes following the retirement of the incumbent CEO, Ajiz Shaikh (IAS).
As per the government directive signed by Subhash Umranikar, Joint Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra, Beldar has been instructed to hand over his current responsibilities to an authorized officer designated by the Principal Secretary of the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department. He is scheduled to officially take over the charge of his new post from the retiring officer, Shri. Ajiz Shaikh, on May 31, 2026, in the afternoon

Babasaheb Jalindar Beldar is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer belonging to the Maharashtra cadre. He serves as the Managing Director of the Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation (MPBCDC) and is also a director on the board for LIDCOM.
